2007 Half Dollar

These coins feature circulating quality Kennedy half-dollars struck on the main production floors at the United States Mint at Philadelphia and Denver. The obverse design of the half-dollar features a portrait of President John F. Kennedy by Gilroy Roberts, the Chief Engraver of the United States Mint in 1963. The reverse design, by Frank Gasparro, the United States Mint's next Chief Engraver, depicts a heraldic eagle with shield, reminiscent of the Great Seal of the United States.
